The goal is to organize rides that involve safety, fellowship, adventure, good publicity, and motivation for all levels of road cyclists.

RIDE GROUPS: 

1.        A ride: Pace should be consistent with that of an experienced USCF racer.  2-4 hrs ride options.  Tempos should be consistent with the time of the year training goals of the team.

2.       B ride: Pace should be consistent with that of an experienced recreational century rider.  2-4 hr rides options.

3.       C ride: Pace should be 13-15mph.   1.5-2.5 hrs options

Weekly Ride Locations and Start times

Saturdays:

1.        At Biker's Choice.  A and B level rides.  8:00am,  Winter.    7:00am During Daylight savings hours.

2.       Beech High School. B and C level rides.  9:00 am winter.  8:00am, During Daylight savings hours.

Sundays

1.        Madison Creek Elementary School.  A, B, and C Level rides.  1:30pm year round.

Routes and Ride Leaders. 

 Prior to leaving the parking lot, riders will designate a ride leader who will be responsible for the route, the pace, and designated turn around spots.   If you have questions, specific needs, or comments PLEASE DON'T BE SHY ask the designated ride leader. 

Rider Etiquette: 

1.        ESPECIALLY when leading others. Avoid sudden braking or swerving.

2.       ESPECIALLY when leading others, Signal in advance, road hazards, dogs, farm animals, cars, and turns. 

3.       Notify the leader when going off the front or off the back of the peloton. 

4.       Avoid the 3 C's.  Criticizing, Complaining, and Condemning. but do communicate.

5.       Recognize the tempo of the group, and play within the abilities of the group

6.       Single up when cars need by

7.       Don’t ride near the middle of the road when cars are approaching.

8.       Use hand signals and extreme caution when making left hand turns.

9.       Ride on the shoulder in a high traffic area when smooth pavement is provided.
