Team Update/ Nashville Criterium Series

Totally impressive rides put in last night by all. Joe going right from the line with one full lap to go and gapping the field and coming to the line with 10+ bike lengths sitting up was super impressive. But the move of the night had to be Tanner's winning move in the Pro 1/2/3 field.. He comes out of the second to last corner headed down to the 180 4th wheel and shoots around the top 3 guys on the left and takes the lead and puts down a white knuckle fast 180 and does a crazy long sprint to take the win. I'm sure those guys had no idea he was coming around there and could pull that corner off much less sprint that far. Matt and Kyle also put in an impressive last lap push to gap the field as well. Jon and Billy also rode a great race with Jon just getting nipped at the line. Josh Hix went down really hard and lost a lot of skin and ruined a pair of shorts but got up and finished tough man. We had 8 guys collect points last night which is amazing and our highest one week total so far with 99 points. We out scored SVMIC who is the second place team by 66 points they only got 33 points with 1 guy and 2 girls placing. We also pulled away from NashvilleCyclist as well so we are firmly in 3rd but we are also now only 59 points out of second so if we have two more great races like we have been putting in we have a good shot at 2nd team overall. Hopefully several of you guys can make the race on Saturday and I think as many of us as possible need to try to be at the race next Wednesday since it's the last one and they will be doing the final individual and team presentation awards. Even if you don't race come see your teammates get these well deserved awards.

We have 730 points, SVMIC has 789, and NC has 550.
