The Vado SL comes fully equipped to start riding right away. Extra-bright built-in lights provide high visibility in low-light conditions, while the MasterMind Turbo Control Unit (TCU) displays ride information on the go. Nimbus tires roll fast on or off pavement with plenty of grip, and the step-through frame design offers easier on/off access for commuter traffic. The heart of the Vado SL is its Turbo SL technology, an advanced integrated electric bike system combining lightweight design, natural feel, anti-theft functions, training tips, a full-function bike computer, and long-range capability. Body position and handling are optimized for unsurpassed riding comfort, confidence, and control. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes provide maximum stopping power, while larger tires deliver maximum traction for turning and stopping. The fully integrated 320Wh downtube battery offers up to 80 miles (130 km) or 6 hours in eco mode, with optional Range Extender compatibility extending range to 120 miles (200 km) or 9 hours in eco mode. The Specialized SL 1.1 custom lightweight motor delivers peak 240W and 35Nm of torque with 2x rider amplification (180% assistance) and assists up to 28mph.
